I love all the blogs I follow, because I really only follow blogs that I enjoy reading. And yes, I read all of the posts on all of the blogs I follow through Google Reader late every night! That is usually my late night light reading!
The best part about blogs and social networks is all the people that you "meet" from all parts of the world! I have made cyber friends in virtually every corner of the world and I have learned that no matter how different our cultures, we are all basically the same.
This morning I came across a wonderful bog from Overland Park, KS called Taking the Scenic Route. That is sort of how I feel about my life, I have definitely taken the scenic route and glad of it! Taking the Scenic Route is the blog of Roberta from Cottonwood Lane Primitives and she is giving away one of her wonderful works of art for fall.
Last year I came across the blog of Janet Metzger from Warrenton, Va. She is the owner of a wonderful Etsy Shop and creator of a blog called The Empty Nest. Since then, I have enjoyed every single post about her numerous crafty ventures and I have also picked up a few yummy recipes along the way!
Late last night I was working my way through the daily list of blog posts from my favorite blogs and I came across a posting from Janet about a wonderful fabric giveaway she is hosting with SkyReve Fabrics and Kim from Everything Etsy ; another couple of very talented ladies.
Would you like a chance to win some yummy fabrics?
You can do just that if you are the lucky winner of a gift certificate worth $50.00 to spend in Natasha's SkyeReve shop!! So run, don't walk over to Janet's Blog for all the particulars on how to enter and good luck to you all!
